This summer, JFMF unveiled our new program: the Migrant Accompaniment Program/Migrando con Apoyo del Pueblo or MAP

The Migrant Accompaniment Program is an opportunity for human connection and support for recently arrived folks in WNY. As part of our MAP volunteer team, our folks provide support for folks as they navigate local services and resources that can meet their everyday needs.

With MAP, JFMF volunteers will walk alongside community members in solidarity with their dignity, safety and sense of belonging in Buffalo and WNY.

This program is an evolution of the work that JFMF staff and volunteers have done since our founding. JFMF is not a charity, we work in solidarity, working along and inside of oppressed communities to meet our needs so that we can change systems. MAP  is a full embodiment of our values of solidarity and self-determination.
