Pride and resilience
June, 2024
This month we celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride and Juneteenth.
Pride and Juneteenth are calls for remembrance in the forms of a joyful embodiment of resistance and freedom. They are also calls for us to keep going, to keep fighting for justice, freedom and liberation from the intersecting systems of oppression.
While we spend time this month attending parades, festivals and parties, we remember the history of resistance and ongoing fights for freedom in all of our communities.
