Remembering those who came before us
October, 2023
Join us in honoring those who have come before or in remembrance of ancestors whose lives allowed us to be where we are today.
As days shorten and nights grow, we turn towards remembrance.
The end of this month also marks a time when remembrance of ancestors is celebrated, in the Mexican Day of the Dead; and also in All Souls Day and All Saints Day.
This week marks the 7th anniversary of the raids that impacted the Buffalo 25.
We honor the Mexican workers whose whose quest for justice and fair treatment laid the groundwork for a renewed and energized commitment to immigrant justice and worker justice
We invite you to donate to Justice for Migrant Families in honor of those who have come before or in remembrance of ancestors whose lives allowed us to be where we are today.
The abuelitas and abuelitos, the grannies, the freedom fighters, the aunties, the tios/tias and the zios/zias; each person who has walked ahead, some of whom are no longer with us. All of whom have led us and walked with us on our continuing path towards justice and liberation for all
Support Justice For Migrant Families in our ongoing work in honor of those you love, those you fight for and those who have accompanied you in this life and beyond
Thank you,
Jennifer, aaron, Flor, Sara and Emily
